Castle Rose (introduced in 1942), Wildflower (1942) and Promise (1948), which were manufactured by Oneida exclusively for Empire Crafts Corp. (owned and operated by C. H. Stuart & Co. of Newark, NY). Empire Crafts sold Royal Crest's sterling silver patterns through private home distribution (direct-sales) and NOT through conventional retail establishments of the time, such as department stores and jewelry stores.
